Mel Sheeler - President
Mel is a native of Ventura, California, graduated locally from Ventura High School and received his Bachelors degree in Business from Cal Poly in 1965. After graduation Mel spent the next 25 years in the financial service industry from the San Joaquin Valley to his home area of Ventura County.
Most recently Mel has provided leadership in the Moving and Storage industry. With close to 14 years experience in this industry and community encouragement, Mel has opened Sheeler Moving and Storage, Inc. to serve Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties.
Community Involvement is a priority to Mel and he was honored to be voted "Citizen of the Year" by the Ventura Chamber in 2002. Mel has been a member of the Ventura Chamber since the 1970’s and served as the Chamber President in 1992. He is a 35 year member of the Kiwanis International Club having served twice as President of the East Ventura Club. He has also served on the board for the American Heart Association and currently serves the Board of the American Cancer Society. He is a founding member of the Ventura Chamber Music Festival and the Rubicon Theatre Company. Mel is involved in many other aspects of this community, but dearest to his heart is the Boy’s & Girl’s Club where Mel currently serves on the Board of Directors. He was inducted into the Boy’s & Girl’s Club Hall of Fame in l997 and served as the Club President in 1995. As well, Mel is currently serving his second term as President of the Police Activities League which serves the disadvantaged youth of our community.
Mel’s achievements are not limited to cultural and community organizations alone. Within the moving industry Mel served as past President of CMSA (California Moving and Storage Association) Ventura/ Santa Barbara Chapter, presiding over household good regulations and fundraising for various causes within CMSA charities.

Yvonne Drayton
Yvonne has been in the moving and storage industry for nearly 13 years. During this time she has worked in accounting, dispatch, operations and military affairs. She is currently a Sales Relocation Consultant for Sheeler Moving and Storage. Yvonne has attended many relocation training programs and is very knowledgeable in all aspects of the moving and storage business. During her free time, Yvonne enjoys reading, gardening and attending her son and daughter's sporting events.

Jan Fry
Jan has many years experience in accounting, the past 9 in the moving industry and has handled special product shipments from origin loading to destination delivery as well. Jan is responsible for the accounting duties for Sheeler Moving and Storage, including accounts receivable, accounts payable and storage accounts. She has attended several relocation training classes and is certified by the American Moving and Storage Association as a Certified Claims Analyst. Time away from work is enjoyed doing home improvements, redecorating and enjoying activities with her family.

Maria D. Cheng
Maria has 9 years experience in the moving industry with Military and Government invoicing knowledge. Her accounting background is a great asset that allows Maria to assist with numerous accounting duties. Away from the office, Maria enjoys family activities with her husband and three children.
